It always astounds me that folks who run pointers and retrievers can deny that dogs have genetic characteristics. Fighting dogs have been bred to be vicious fighters. They are hard wired to kill and maim, and they do, well. Denial is delusional. They can be very loyal, or not.
It's almost never the Basset hounds. ;-{>8

Possible, however the vid opens with the following sequence : girl says something.. Mother clarifies.. Newscaster says "A 5 year old girl is recovering tonight after being attacked by a neighbors dog.." simultaneously presenting an image of what I presume to be the neighbors dog, what appears obviously to be a pit of some sort. Poor editing?
