It appears that "social justice" is in the process of taking a hit in Ohio.

The day after Trump won the election, three black Oberlin students, a male and two females, got caught shoplifting three bottles of wine from Gibson's Bakery. A Gibson's employee confronted them and followed them out of the store. The three shoplifters fought him, and when the police arrived had him on the ground beating on him. They have all pleaded guilty to the shoplifting and the assault. Police body cam shows the police being very calm and professional, and the male student howling in terror at being arrested.

The next night a student mob formed in front of the bakery, with a black female student using a bullhorn to claim that Gibson's was racist, and had profiled the shoplifters. A female Dean and Vice President of Oberlin was on scene, with her own bullhorn. She and another Oberlin official were actively leading the protest, telling students where to go to get more copies of their flier, handing out fliers, etc. Oberlin has been getting food service from Gibson's since 1885, but cut off their contract. They offered to turn the contract back on if Gibson's would get the shoplifting charges dismissed.

So Gibson's sued Oberlin. Trial has been underway since Monday.

With the exception of Fox, there has been nothing on the national news about this. An attorney blogger at Legal Insurrection has been in the courtroom, and is reporting on each day's happenings. It is obviously not going well for Oberlin. The Dean claims she was just there trying to calm things down. The police and other witnesses tell a very different story. According to Legal Insurrection, the jury is obviously not buying Oberlin's defense.

So, just possibly, colleges and universities will see the writing on the wall, and start to back down a bit from some of the social justice nonsense that has been going on.

In other news, a federal court has held that a police officer can sue the organizer of a Black Lives Matter freeway blockade, where the officer was injured.

Still more: The US Attorney appointed to investigate the origins of the Russia hoax has already been on the job for a few weeks. His appointment was just announced, but he is already underway.

Social Justice = Blacks are exempt from laws.

Put them all on a leaky garbage barge, and let Trump tell Kim Jong-un he has a target that will benefit all of the world if he makes a direct hit.

I hope they lose the lawsuit and it costs them a ton of money!

So in other words, some strange social-justice version of extortion or blackmail?

I suspect that if the yute's were indeed innocent, their case would stand on it's own merit.

Hope Oberlin pays through the nose. Sounds like extortion to me and a slam dunk case. Only way those administrations will get the message and start holding people accountable is through their bank account. I am guessing this Dean currently still has her job.

Superb. Let's hope one of the outcomes is a legal roadmap and precedent for conservatives to be able to make these a-holes accountable for their actions.

No matter how this case turns out, there's absolutely no reason to stop those liberal POSs from doin the same thing again, every day.

Cause the taxpayers pay the judgment, or the taxpayers paid for the insurance (which is gonna go up now) ta pay the judgment.

The only way any accountability for action will ever be achieved, is by takin the amount of the judgment outta the retirement benefits of the school district employees.

That makes the ones that f'ked up, actually hafta pay the judgment.

True in most cases but in this case Oberlin is private so they are on their own. The bill will be on them and their insurance.

Funny how they live in their own little world created within the world we white folks created , anyway on her page [president] she mentions the school is all about social justice . They can't be dragged out of victimhood .

And, be very, very expensive. Courts should start allowing law suits to proceed with severe financial penalties awarded by jurors.

This would put some “Justice” into the SJW azz real quick. 😎
