2/3’s of mine are still from memory. But I have LOTS of problems with spelling issues. Both languages.

One of the things I am thankful for. Lots of old german speakers here in old days. Hell I still have Texanishe Deutsche conversations with the old friends in the grocery store. Usually quite comical.
But,,,,,, Mrs. Bartsch is in same assisted living home as wifey. Everytime I see her I converse with her auf Deutsche. She has alzheimers bad. She just looks at me and smiles! And says "sehr gut!" I onow she understands.
