I have nothing but good to say about my BA Lost Ranger. I've had it down below 20 with the Air Core pad and didn't get too cold. I move alot when I sleep, so having the pad attached to the bag is a big plus for me.

I have two. A +20 and a minus 20.

I love them.

Not chasing your pad at night is a blessing and they are as warm as their rating.

Just don't loan one out if you want to see it again that season.

I find my Lost Ranger to be optimistic in its rating, but otherwise, it's a fine bag. For my use, it's a 25 degree bag, not 15.

I have one but have never used it. I bought it on a closeout last winter. It was the display model, but has never been slept in. I had been looking to get one for awhile because I like the product and could not pass it up. I bought the last one and later realized it was a long.

I'm just under 6 feet and could save a few ounces with a regular. I'd be willing to part with my long bag if anyone wants to make an offer.

+1 on the Summit Park. Had mine broken in up in NWT this past September and it was great. Weather was not below 25 but it did everything it was supposed to do.

I own a BigAgnes Crystal and use it with their insulated air-core pad. I've only used it a couple of nights but sofar I'm quite happy, I believe the concept works as intended. I chose the BA as it is reasonably light weight and has plenty of room.

I bought the Encampment model which is good to 15 degrees with the Prolight 4 as a pad. It will be used on my sheep hunt this August. I slept in it once, and it is pretty comfy.

I have asked this question at several backpacking site's also. And so far no negative feed back! That's a good sign, usually someone has something negative to say.

I have a sawtooth! Do you like yours? I'm looking into the Big Agnes for my son's rifle elk hunt this year.

Mine felt way too clammy on my sheep hunt.

Sent it with the wife, cause she could wash it in a big commercial washing machine at her workplace, and it hasn't come back.

Can't say I miss it.

Hey CD,
I do like my sawtooth a lot but only have one year with it so far. I think I paid just over $100 for it. So for what I paid I would say good deal.

I have a big agnes whiskey park bag rated at 0 degrees. The bag weighs a ton and is overkill for most of my trips, but combined with the BA pad, is very roomy and comfortable.

I have the Horse Thief and I find the temp rating about average. (I think I sleep about 5* warm) It is however, very comfortable and of reasonably good quality. OTH my Western Mountaineering "Caribou" is much lighter and (IME) sleeps warmer than its rating. All up, I'd say the BA bags are worth what one pays. I'm kinda half considering a Zirkel as (I think) I need a 20* bag that is in the two Lb range.

OTH, I think I have a connection that can score me a deal with Golite and I may go that way.

I have not used one but any bag Ed T. thinks highly of is probably a very good bag.

I like the looks of the neck yoke/draft collar.

Forgot to mention. I am using a BA IAC with a ridgerest under my sawtooth. Pretty darn comfy.
