Yep. Walked through a pygmy oak forest outside of the central coast town I was living in, heard all these funny birds chirping at me. Turns out there were about 3-4 grey foxes checking me out. A couple of them in the trees (that grew at a slant, easy for them to scale I guess). Quite the unusual sighting for me.

Anyways, I hope the two of you manage a good long association together. Though I'm betting it becomes an "outside" fox in the not too distant future.

I think Roger acquired it young enough that it might be ok. If not, he's got a good back up plan.

Greys are actually pretty good at tree climbing. Some of them “nest” too. Meaning they deliver and raise their Kits in a tree instead of in a den.
