I recently put together a new hunting rifle package. I chose to use the padded MS1 sling from Magpul. I’m starting to wonder if it wasn’t the best choice. It’s definitely a sling for ARs, and although I got it to fit on my Savage 110, there’s a lot of extra strappage.

Before I go and cut it off, I am trying to decide if I should just go with it or find a different option.
Pros:
Color, quality, padded,
Cons:
Not really designed with a hunting rifle in mind, kinda slippery, features not fully utilized.

Any suggestions?

have two of these and love 'em. Little tough to adjust, but once set, they don't move. Def good grip when carrying around the field.

I like the Outdoor Connection Super Sling 2 for my hunting rifles.....cheap and effective.
