An electric griddle large enough to hold an entire pound. Tilted to let the grease run away, far away. Cook to medium, not like crispy tooth hurtin chit of the deep fried stuff.

Good gosh, when it comes to food I've been called an animal, but I don't know how some can deal with all that grease

LOL, a good friend of mine once bought a Thoroughbred mare and spent a couple months prepping her for one of the premiere horse sales in the Thoroughbred industry. For over a month the nag got a quart of Crisco vegetable oil everyday in her diet. Come sale day she was nearly dripping. A pretty thing, shining like a fish just out of water. She bought 48K.

Long as it isn't burnt, I haven't tasted a bad piece of bacon yet.

Anybody see a 1-2 dollar per pound jump in bacon prices? My super farmer buddy says it's due to the Chinese hog losses due to some chit.

I say it's panic, speculation & game playing as usual.

Well, there is no “wrong” w bacon, but that is best.

Bull. Cook it in the pan you'll be making eggs in. Doesn't everyone know that? lol

Same here.
Had a friend over a couple of weeks ago that asked how we cooked that bacon as it was the best she'd ever had, was surprised to find out it was nuked.

If you light it on fire with a Zippo, bacon can cook itself. P.J. O'Rourke taught me that.

I am a bacon addict. I even cook eggs and hash browns in generous quantities of bacon grease. My favorite way of cooking bacon is as follows. Get one of those ceramic coated devices used for grilling vegetables. Then lay all the bacon out in a nice row, then put it in your Traeger grill and smoke it on low for a half hour using hickory wood. Then turn it up to 350 and cook until your desired level of crispiness. You will be shocked at how good it tastes. Two things to be aware of. 1) you can't save the grease to use to cook other items like cheesy eggs or hash browns, which is a bummer. 2) You have to clean out the plate under the grill after a few rounds. I know this because I actually caught the grill on fire with a big load of bacon grease in it and it was not pretty.
