Am I the only one, who thinks that is fuggly? Nope, you are not the only one. I was just waiting for someone else to say it first. It's a fiberglass Corvair. The Corvair was better looking.

What you going to do with it, race to the store and back?
I predict it will be short lived and a great investment for the very long term because the day of the muscle car is gone but not forgotten. If it keeps with Corvette tradition it'll likely get about 10mpg but do it with pizzazz. You must not pay a lot of attention to the car market.

Sounds real good, will need a few years to shakeout the bugs though. I will buy an older one 2 years down the road that has been gently used.
The Body is almost entirely made out of fiberglass and plastic. Of course they will be 1/4 the price of a handmade Italian Sportscar with all the exotic metal. Do you want performance ? Take a look at the Tesla Roadster 0-60 1.9 seconds 250+ MPH top speed 620 mile cruising range. That should frighten the European manufacturers bigly.

Gone but not forgotten? Take a look around. Your mini van has more HP than your Camaro did. Ford, Chevy, Dodge, and the ricers are all making fast, bad ass cars.

If I was going after a go fast, high hp machine I'd be getting a Hellcat. Standard 717 hp.

I've had 2 new corvettes 1 used corvette , all black on black color , a young guy can sure get a lot of guys hating him with one . In a small town like biloxi it seems everybody in the region knows who you are .
2020 model is spectacular especially for the money , you'll see twin turbo builds within days of the first cars sold . There'll be a 1000 wheel horsepower car on the street within a month .
I got that kind of stuff out of my system in my 20' -30's , driving one around when you're old - nah - glad I didn't wait although these newer cars are far cooler than 80's 90' C3 C4 .
Sounds like some here could show a picture of their old maverick or duster that was twice as cool as any corvette . laf .

looks like a pimped out Camaro to me, and I hate the looks of the new Camaros. The Mustangs and Challengers look great, but Chevy screwed the pooch.
i'll bet it's fun to drive though.

I walked past a hellcat and wondered what the behemoth weighed - looked it up 4,500+ lbs. - bust out laughing . No wonder they decline invites to track days , hell any manufacture can build a 1/4 mile car it ain't rocket science .

i'll bet it's fun to drive though. Mustangs have long passed their cool new look and morphed into another losing platform based on the old but iconic Mach I. Challenger is stagnated with nothing to offer but the modern version of the 1970 offering and it too is getting old. Corvette has continued to be innovative and I will bet you won't be able to buy a 2020 off any lot, due to the high demand. At least, none of these were designed in a wind tunnel...

When I was at Barrett Jackson auction in Scottsdale, they had a track where they were taking people for rides in these cars. The only one you couldn't hear squeeling tires on was the Corvette...
