Yup, that high priced cut of beef, and I'll bet youall did not think I could even spell that. I think I've only seen one ever, back in 66. Any high end coinsures ever enjoy the cut?

I buy whole tenderloins and cut them myself. Wife prefers them.
I don't like them. Too lean and not much flavour.

I'd eat then to Paul! Meanwhile "back at the ranch", Judy, and I are getting ready for a trip to Wabigoon Sunday. If I don't forget, I have some beef liver for you and, Deb.

They are tender but typically don't have the fat I like in a steak.

Try to get to Ruth’s Chris for a Pittsburgh filet mignon three or four times a year.

I enjoy filet mignon. I cook mine in a cast iron skillet real hot. Salt and pepper the steaks, half a stick of butter till it starts to burn, put the steaks in 3 minutes do not move, flip for three minutes on the other side. Then have your oven preheated to 475 and put the skillet in for 5 minutes. Put the remaining half stick of butter on top. Way cheaper than Ruth Chris and tastier in my opinion.

Filet is good, but I prefer a good ribeye personally.

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

I like them, but then I don't like fat in beef, unless it's ground beef. We'll usually buy a beef tenderloin at Christmas.

We sell bacon wrapped tenderloin cutlets in the shop. If they don't sell I take em home. Good eating. Barry
