Only one, a Marlin 336 in 30/30. Wouldn’t mind if it was a 7-30. 😉

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

Have a 30-06 that was my first rifle and a 300 Weatherby Rifles Inc Strata. Can’t say I really use either of them. The 06 was my first rifle, so has some sentimental value. The strata I got a good deal on, but I’m just not a fan of the caliber (I don’t reload, so it’s just too expensive and obscure for me to get ammo). It’s a nice rifle otherwise, but would probably let it go to a new home if someone made me the right offer on it.

Almost built a 300 win, but went for 7mm Rem mag.

I will count them after I list the ones I have. I only have six. I gave my son a 308 with a Hart barrel.

2 - 308
3 - 30-06
1 - 300 WM
1 - 300BO

I don’t ever intend to shoot the 300WM. It’s a Stevens 200 I bought for the action. It’s extremely light and betting it recoils more than I would like. This is the only donor I’ve ever not shot.

One thing about the .30's - few if any other calibers are as versatile, and IMHO no .30 matches the .30-06 in that category.

Coyote Hunter - NRA Patriot Life, NRA Whittington Center Life, GOA, DAD - and I VOTE!

No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.

A good .30-06 is a 99% solution.

I have had many 30s (NOT mini). 30/30, 308, 06 s, & 300 WM s.
Now I only have 2.
1 30-06, & 1 300 WM

IMO - an 06 & a 300 WM covers the spectrum.

Currently down to 3.

Marlin 336 30-30
Howa 30-06
MRC 1999 308 Norma

Have had a pile of them, somehow whittled it down. Rifle loony is a sickness.
