Fess up if you have one.
(I don't...yet)

Overpriced yuppie chit?

Redneck status symbol?

Boycott?

I have a plan to strap a cooler on the rear rack of my 4 wheeler. It needs to be an uber stout setup. Thinking a Roadie 20 and a 1" ratchet strap.

Looked on-line at a few other 'heavy-duty' coolers and the Yeti appeared to have the easiest mounting system.

They do however seem kinda gay....

Even before the 'fire boycott, they are way over priced. The are cheaper brands as good, that is as far as I know.

I have a seed corn promotion Igloo cooler that is good enough for my use.

All I know is that they keep stuff cold for a really long time, but I suspect that like their mugs, there are some other brands that work just as well and cost a lot less.

I like the way you are thinking though, it's always good to have a few cold ones on hand.

Don't have one myself, but also am thinking about getting one.

I'd suck a dick if that's what I had to do to get what I want, and I want a cooler that'll keep shït cold.
Even if they are kind of gay, if they work for what you need-they work.

I'll never buy a Yeti.

I stick with more conservative companies with products that are just as good with better prices.

^^^This^^^

I’ve got Yeti’s and other clone brands too. They all work well.
The Yetis cost a lot more though.

Two Rtic coolers here, at less than half the $’s of a Yeti.

I've got a big Yeti that came with my boat. I am totally unimpressed. I would NEVER buy one. My Pelican coolers, on the other hand, are awesome...as long as you don't have to pick them up.

I have a couple and my wife has an Orca. They are good. If you want ice to last several days where you can't readily get ice they are good to have. If you just need ice for day trips they are a waste of money. The worst thing about them around here is people will risk life and limb to steal them.

Google "yeti butt"

I don't have one, don't plan to buy one and I don't boycott companies as a rule. They make a good cooler, but today there are many other options that do just as well at 1/2 the cost. For most people keeping ice a little longer isn't that important. They do, but the difference between them and a $50 Coleman Extreme isn't that great. If you are in a situation where you need ice to last for days with no resupply you'll get an extra day with the high end coolers. Most people who use them day to day start over every day with fresh ice anyway.

To me the biggest advantage of the high end coolers is better hinges and latches. If used hard on a daily basis they will probably pay for themselves by lasting longer.

Another disadvantage of the high end coolers is weight. The insulation is thicker which adds weight, and reduces internal space with coolers of the same external size.

Most people don't really want the truth.

They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

Ain't googlin' yeti butt!

I have 3 Rtic coolers, two soft and one lunker (65?). The zippers went to hell on the soft coolers, lesson learned, now they are flip tops....

The Rtic 20 is a literal clone of the Yeti but the fouled zippers sorta annoyed me away from anymore Rtic.

Weight isn't an issue, ice for days not a concern, theft not really because I stash the wheeler when not in use. And I thought about removing the logo and sticking an Ozark Trail sticker on it.

I won a yeti 65 through our seed dealer. It's nice, but I wouldn't pay $400 for it.

I have one of the Rtic 20's which is identical to a yeti. It's been riding in the back of my truck for a couple years and still is as good as new. I think it's got the same "mounts" as a yeti.

I fess

Hell I even keep a cat around here. I done caught the dreaded double gay.

I told her she's a tri-colored beagle.

1. I cashed out my chips with Cabelas, had the points, kind of like the last 20 seconds on Wheel of Fortune, fuggit gimme the Yeti.

2. I do kind of worry bout it gettin gangked so it only travels in the trunk of the Caddy.

3. It's only called for runs to get Andouille or shrimp or bulk Conocuh. grins
