I would do the same but mine were all lost in that all too common boating accident. Like Michigan must have millions of ARs on the bottom of it by now.

Right. He should do his part to curtail the rape problem in this country by getting his balls cut off.

He could have given it to me. I would have promised to have never taken it out on the street.

I will also like to ask just who the lucky momfrickers are that keep finding these guns out in the street? I do two to five miles three to six days a week out on the street and about the best damned things I’ve ever found were a nice pair of wire cutters, some good work gloves, and a nice tie strap. If I found a functioning AK, I would think that I had hit the lottery.

Some people have all the luck finding these things “out in the streets”.

I wish I had an old AK or such laying around gathering dust.
I could make a big deal out of turning it in, get my name and picture in the papers as a model citizen, get my name off the profiles and watch list.
Meanwhile I might have dozens of illegally acquired full autos and bazookas and God knows what else in my basement arsenal! grin no paper trails, tic tic tic.

When he was talking to the cop behind the counter I was half expecting the cop to say something like, "Do you think you might have gone on a shooting spree with your rifle?" Followed up by a temporary committal to a facility for psychiatric observation and evaluation.

Anyone else would have...but most coppers seem to like being the only one on the block with a firearm.

If you think about it, the guy does indict himself. Maybe he was right to turn it in, in his case. He's batshit crazy.

Did you notice how many times that numbskull said that?

That is a standard phrase for the anti-guns crowd. If guns are walking around out on the street, why don't the cops just pick them up off the street and take them to the station house??

Frankly, I have never, ever seen a gun walking around out on the street. Anyone here ever seen that?
