thats an early firearms deer season. must still be hot as hell down there cause it is up here in PA. if you shoot one i'll be you gotta get it gutted and skinned and in the cooler quick. Antlers....... Or a slickhead if earn it is a earn a buck year on post Not this year. Can afford alot of trigger patience Have ta be something real worthy 140 class at least this early for me to drop the hammer on. Donate the carcass to the walk in reefer van freezer on post. Soldiers sign up for em. I like mcdonalds double cheese burgers , no mustard , extra pickles better. Aint ate deer in about 7 or 8yrs. Someone eats what i shoot That list is constantly being used for donated deer.

I’m muzzleloading today. Workboots. Blue jeans. Blaze orange under armour tshirt. Get a doe and fawn browsing downwind of me. Then the doe beds down at about 15 yards. Fawn at about 5 yards. Laid there for 2 1/2 hours. My butt was sore from not being able to move. No bucks came in though. Fawn was still nursing when they got up to leave.

Best give that pup the left overs. At least a bite. Yes. Our two little chitheads just had 5-6 bites of steak. Snabbing the manager special New York strips that are purple in color and long on flavor. (not talking about my dong either)

I'll intercede if I can, and get one of his deer. Usually if it's close to the house, I'll take his deer and get it up into my walk-in cooler.
Me and ren are sometimes 20 miles apart when we hunt. If I'm hemmed up, he can easily donate it.

He is never more than 10 ft from me when I'm outside. If I let him into the sunroom here, he'll drool on my shoes. 😬

Our old mostly blind and deaf lap dog knows EXACTLY when I start the grill and when the steaks are done.
Spoiled little bastard usually gets a bite before we do. He's currently laying on the floor below the counter where the leftover meat is resting. Go get another beer and he's working hard for another bite....

Wranglers , green t shirt, work boots Thin Nylon orange vest, my anceint sepent hat ( hahaha!!) People look at me not wearing " proper hunting clothes" this time of year like a Martian and im a newb ....... I just chuckle.......
