Yes, but at twice the price of what the OP was asking for.

They're $230.

For the Vortex? That's a deal then compared to what I saw. Speaking Vortex specifically. I've not ever looked at Athlon.

Seems the Meopta Optika 8x42 was built to compete at the precise level you're looking.
Based only on experience with other Meopta products – and feedback from others whose opinions I value, Meopta seems to always outperform the given price point it resides.

I’m tickled with my 8x42 Meopta Optikas.

I have a set of Steiner 7x50 Marine binoculars that I use more than others. They are a bit bulky but the view is excellent.

I also use a smaller set of Nikon Monarchs in 10x42 that are clear and crisp for longer range viewing.

It's official. I missed the selfie deadline so I'm Maser's sock puppet because rene and the Polish half of the fubar twins have decided that I am.

Thanks Kingston I think that makes the point as well as anything could.

I used to think like SB but tried some compact 7.5xs one time and it made a believer of me.

Great tips here fellas I marked those Athalons. I have a very nice pair of Vortex 8x42mm but they’re huge and bulky for sitting in a deer stand in tight cover; great for sitting on a western hillside with a tripod. Gonna get me a pair of those Athalons!

Hope everyone has a great weekend,

Efw

Idk. Sounds like you have a problem.

You gonna sit there and tell me all that glass is needed for a specific type of hunting? You HAVE to have it, right? Can’t get it done without it. [bleep] you.

Somebody needs to mow more yards to afford better toys is what I’m seeing and binoculars aren’t needed to see this either...😎

Buddy, I probably have better glass than you’ve ever dreamed of. I just don’t need 8 different. I damn sure won’t sit here and try to justify it if I did.

Oh come on phuqk face! You own one pair of binos because your dirt poor! Why be so angry at a man because he can provide for his family and hunting activities! What's the real problem here? Somebody fhuqk your old lady because Sandinhercrack can't do it proper? Mix it up a little friend, maybe stop being a ppprick as well and your old lady might not fhuqk around! Happy wife happy life! If all you can give her is a 30 second whine and biotch like a little wuse she's going to have to get that crack filled one way or another! My first guess is your likely imputent

Your lack of manhood and insecurity shines thru like a bright burning light. Boo fhuqking Hooooo, so you only have one pair of bino's. Knowbody gives a phuqk

Nailed it. I’m dirt poor.

Go tell that to any esteemed professional hunter.

Should have said binoculars, my scope would suffice.

Don’t give me that bullshit that I wouldn’t know what I was looking at through my scope, it could be human. Save it.

I’d still have my only one tho.

I am the guide, remember?

Oh, I almost forgot......after going back through this thread I'd like to congratulate you on making a complete fool of yourself. Haven't seen a grown man pull one off like that since Steelhead went 5th grade girls slumber party on us.

I think a man has to be freaking retarded not to go watch birds, but that’s just me 🙂

N E ways, a pair of Eagle Optics 8x32’s rides in my car, but my Swift Audubon 8.5x44 ED porros are my hawk watch binos. They were $500 in their day, present ones are $400 but I dunno if the lenses are as good.
