Probably for the cowl vent. The cowl vent has been changed to power, it's on a rocker switch that goes in the center console. The other rocker switch spot in the console is for the power trunk lid. The crank on the dash is for the crank out windshield. It hinges at the top, bottom swings outward. Something clever here.

Something clever here.
