Next time tell her to go to Popeye's instead. I have never had it, but people seem to want to just about kill each other to get it, according to what I've read.

Sure, if ya can survive baloney and cheez whiz, lake water wont hurt!

Wife calls me while she's out shopping yesterday and says she's bringing home dinner, don't eat anything. Great, says I, don't have to cook!

KFC. Oh mercy. Wake up at 4 am and had to make a run to the bathroom. This morning you can hear my stomach rumbling from 25' away.

Only eaten KFC probably 4 times in my life and twice been struck down in my prime by it. I'm a slow learner it seems.

No mo KFC.

I really like KFC, but my wife complains that it is too greasy and doesn't agree with her. Popeyes! Not for us. Might get kilt!

Was able to blow leaves off the lawn in between blowing up the bathroom. I don't know what they put in that chicken but it can't be good for ya. Probly ate 10,000 McD's burgers and not once got sick.

What has become of the American Male if a simple trip to McD's or KFC would completely take you out of the fight?

Ha! Go buy another kale infused green drink ya sissies!

+1 grin

Popeye's mild is great. As my old boss once said, the spicy makes you azz feel like the inside of a shotgun barrel.

Liked Church's 40 years ago. Been that long since I saw one.

I've done that in lakes all over Texas often to the horror of onlookers.

Want a laugh dig out a bolet or chantrelle mushroom or Turkey tail from a rotting log and take a chomp in mixed company.

yep. been out on some really hot august days in jawja, and drank downstream from some really bad places.

better that than dehydration 20 miles from nowhere.

nah, it ain't a good answer, but it's the best answer available at the time.

I bought there 30 years ago driving through the poor side of town. AAs were lined up at every window. Got my chiett and drove off. Chomped down on a chicken leg fried in REAL BAD rancid rotten grease. Almost puked. Its takes a while to get that taste out of your mouth.

we've got a church's run by middle easterners about 2 miles from here, at the edge of the citylimits.

their fish is allus over cooked.

their chicken is still greasy, good, and right up there with Lee's fried chicken.

KFC was good when we were kids, only had it a few times as my family liked Howard Johnsons,so a few years ago wife and I walked into a KFC for nostalgia
Lunch, place was filthy and when I saw what was working in there,we left.
Same with Micky D s,got hungry on the road, went through the drive through, all my food ,including the top of my coke, reeked of perfume.like the drive in girl poured it into her hands like aftershave to put it on.had the same thing happen at Dunking Dounuts, perfumed coffe lid.I called the 1800 # both times, they sent me coupons in the mail, probably still in my visor.I won t go back.

we have regular inspections by the health dept at the food cookeries.

many pass, a few fail. then a few of those fail again.

watch out, or their tag gets pulled.

usually they retrain and get right.
