we've got a church's run by middle easterners about 2 miles from here, at the edge of the citylimits.

their fish is allus over cooked.

their chicken is still greasy, good, and right up there with Lee's fried chicken.

Have you asked if they still wipe with their hands?

Funny those who talk about restaurants being dirty,
And how spotless their home is.

Most food born illnesses are spread from.....home kitchens.

My wife has to be serv-safe certified every few years.
Mandatory classes and examinations to qualify.
To run.......Oh my God... a C-store!

How many home cooks have been trained beyond "What mom did"?

How many operate good hygiene to prevent ANY cross contamination?
How many have a dish drainer within splashing distance of
where they handle meat.

How many have a proper 3 bowel sink set up?
We dont.

I love KFC.
Really, any fried chicken.
When we travel, my joy is eating at a Bojangel's.

We got a Popeyes here a few years ago, it sucks..
Don't know if they changed the food, or this one just sucks.
Food tastes like it was fried in old lard. And the fryer was not hot enough.
Heartbroke I was, truly heartbroke.

Three years West African village? Check.
Rancid meat stored without refrigeration? Check.
Whole dried fish and minnows, heads, guts and all, purchase laying out in the open on market stalls? Check.
Fish harvested by dumping food-aid DDT into the stream? Check.
Eating with your right-hand fingers while five other people are likewise eating from the same bowl? Check.
Drinking the soup left over after you all get done using your fingers to eat from that same bowl? Check.
Eating with your right hand while constantly waving the hordes of flies off with your left? Check.
Drinking water straight out of a muddy African stream every dry season, taking a gamble on bladder flukes because you have no way to boil it? Check 😎

You guys sound like a bunch of weenies grin ‘Cept maybe Roger.

as an aside, roadkill deer ain't half bad if it's at least half-fresh.

speaking of the wipers with their hands, they won't be in bizness long if they get caught.

but probably a lot of them never do get caught. that's a dilemma for sure.

halal fooderies is something i tend not to frequent. it's just the thought. ya know?

we're hearing more and more about hepatitis A infections. i already have the blood markers, so no worries there.

You get sick at KFC? Wow.

Don't ever eat Chinese then.

i just hate when it appears gov't authorized food service is unsafe to eat.

do we voters, citizens and tax-payers need to tighten up on food service rules & regs?

i mean if it ain't safe to eat out, someone needs to appraise us of the overall risks we face?

fresh green lettuce, and related products sold to us in the mass market food stores are a risk?

Wife asked you not to eat and tells you she's bringing food. After she's been gone all day. I know what I would suspect

PREZACTLY !!!

Worst case of food poisoning I’ve ever had was from KFC nearly 30 years ago. Haven’t ate there since.

When I used to travel cross country on the pipeline, by myself, I used to look for KFC buffets. Would load down my plate with original recipe legs and wings. Nothing else.

I haven't had KFC since before they started going by KFC. But once upon a time I liked Kentucky Fried Chicken.

I prefer Popeyes to KFC. But I prefer Chik Fil A to both of them.

I remember my dad bringing home a large bucket of chicken every now and then when I was a boy, and it was awesome, even when cold. I have been to KFC a couple times in the past few months and its a far cry from what they used to be.

The problem nowadays with KFC is the hired help. The whole joint is run by teenagers. However, the buffet stores, which are few and far between, are still run by adults.
