Because nothing good can come of having pictures of yourself and other personal information on the internet.
I've been a victim of identity theft a couple of times, people have stolen my social security number and had phones installed in their homes under my name. I've had my credit card number stolen more times than I can count. I shut down my facebook account because it's now routine for employers to monitor employees social media, an innocent picture of someone standing next to a buddies pickup truck with a confederate flag license plate could get somebody branded a racist and fired. I've known several people fired because of what they've put on social media. What's considered OK today might get you fired or prosecuted twenty years from now with the way the social justice warrior crap is going. That picture above with a deer and rifle might get you ostracized 20 years from now if Michael Bloomberg becomes president and convinces the current crop of mush brained kids that guns are the root of all evil. Thirty five years ago when I was in high school if you took a picture of the parking lot at school every pickup in it would have a rifle in a gun rack in the back window, a picture like that today would get the swat team called.
I'm not that good looking anyway, nobody needs to see my picture.

Obviously the perps knew when their victims were at work/out of town/ not home. My brother also recently went through the hell of having his identity stolen.

I figure people who won't post a pic have something to hide. Has anyone heard of something bad happening to a campfire member for doing so?
