When I pulled my foodbank prank, I ended up some frozen store brand pumpkin pie. Like a stouffers or sara lee type deal. Smelled liked sweaty asscrack  I gave that nasty fugger to my dogs. lol

My wife makes the best pumpkin pie, just the right amount of spice, and it is ORANGE, not some kind of grayish-tan.
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

I love homemade pumpkin pie, but my ultimate craving (I know I am going to flamed) is a Costco pumpkin pie. I really like the flavor, I can eat one of those in one sitting. Good thing Costco sells them big boxes of wet wipes.

GrandMother used to always make them for Thanksgiving. Hated them. Not a fan of pumpkin pie either. Mom always made pecan pie and German chocolate cake on Thanksgiving. They were awesome! This is my second Thanksgiving since she passed. Really missing her and also her great cooking today.

All we got was a homemade coconut cake.

I just made mine from scratch...well, used canned pumpkin...and had to use almond flour for the crust, almond milk instead of cream, and Stevia instead of sugar. The beeper just went off as I'm writing. Time to taste test diabetic pumpkin pie. Oh well...it beats no pumpkin pie.

A can of Libby's puree, evaporated milk, spices, and a store bought crust is better than no pumpkin pie at all. If you follow their recipe on the back of the can and add one more egg it's great.

My wife makes the ultimate pumpkin pie!!! home grown pie pumpkins,use egg nog instead of evaporated milk,and a splash of our own maple syrup from our sugar orchard !!!! also wipped cream on top mmmmm mmmmm good!

My Grandmothers double fluffy pumpkin pie recipe from way back. Makes two 9 inch pies. First year Daughters are responsible for making them in 30 years since Nonna showed me back in the 80's. Crusts are pretty but damn they are flaky. I Already started eating around the edges.
