Oh crap. Talk about a shock. Charlie was one of those guys that seemed bigger than life. I guess that's because of my immense respect for him. What a kick in the gut is right. Terrible news.

I am truly saddened, and this hit me hard this morning. At 43, there are not many men living I look up to. In the limited number of times we interacted, Fieldgrade quickly showed he was one of those. I could give a rats ass about 99% of the folks on this forum, but he was at the top of the 1% in my book. Just Damn.
