Most NG units have limited ammo and units like armor units don't even have most if any tanks or Bradleys. Here in WV the armor units keep their tanks at Camp Lee or Camp Picket VA. Politicians are talking out of their collective asses. The active military has tried more than once to make NG units only support units. The active military and federal government only want the NG or ANG armed on their terms. So we see pretty much a paper tiger for a long fight without the active military's support. Most of us that have been in the military know what an ammo dump or storage area looks like. Ever see then at NG units or for that matter Air Guard units. By now the VA politicians have been briefed by the state adjutant general and he's probaly asked them "are you out of your f#cking mind"?

During the French Indian War, out on the Northwest Carolina Frontier in Rowan County, there were only 1536 tax payers in 1756. Three years later, there were less than 800 tax payers, the remainder having fled for safety east of the Yadkin River, and some went north into Virginia.
A well known individual gathered his family, tucked tail, and ran back to Virginia until it was all over. That man’s name was Daniel Boone.
Maybe you can go find a descendant of Daniel Boone to write your grievances to the government, while the real patriots, like the less than 800 tax payers who had the balls to stay on the N. Carolina Western frontier, address tyranny against their God given inalienable rights with burning gun powder.

I do not trust anyone to protect my SA rights but me, myself, and I. That includes members of the military and law enforcement. While I'm sure that there are many LEO's and soldiers who would refuse to join in the fight to disarm the citizens, there are just as many more who would willingly follow orders to do so, and not give it a second thought to kill their fellow Americans if push came to shove.
Anyway, having said that, I do not envision a situation in the immediate future where some Democrat governor is going to call out the National Guard and order them to start seizing firearms from the citizens of that state. Not saying it will never happen, as we have no way of predicting the future or knowing what it holds for us. But, this I do know..........if there ever does come a time in this country, when guns are outlawed, and some politician calls upon the military to disarm the people and I'm still breathing, I do not plan on sitting on my azz doing nothing, and waiting for all those "patriotic soldiers" to refuse to follow those orders.

What makes you think people will drive to Virginia, from all across the country, when they didn’t drive to Nawlins when they were disarmed?
As said before, NO was a different story. You had people walking around with guns that were not defending their property. There was a shortage of dry places to stay, food, water, etc. They were disarmed after a few fights broke out over food and water, and guns were fired. Most of it was gang related violence and looting. This was no wholesale confiscation of guns from houses, businesses, etc.
