They are desperate for people to go back to when most just blindly believed whatever garbage they put on the air.
Really Chris? So what you're saying is that he is doing to the press what the press has been doing to Republicans for decades. Huh, go figure. By the way, Wallace says "President Trump is engaged in the most direct, sustained assault on freedom of the press in our history.” Really, let's see it. Where? I've never even heard democrats assert that Trump has signed an executive order forbidding the press from printing and reporting. He responds and, yes, he attacks them. It's about time. That is clearly an assault on the press; but, how is that an assault on "freedom" of the press?

They have devolved into a propaganda machine that spews its own rhetoric instead of being unbiased. They are an attack arm of the democrat party and it hurts to get hit back. They're not used to being called out for their attacks. Instead they expect everyone to sit and take it like GWB did. Freedom of the press refers to the freedom belonging to everyone to use mass communication to disseminate their ideas to a general audience. It doesn’t apply to any institution or profession as a class to themselves.
