My father in law drank Ushers Green Stripe
Wasnt top shelf but well above bottom shelf. I gave it a try it was smooth with just a hint of after taste. He was over seas on his first deployment when he first tried it. He was in the Air Force for 22.5 years and another 17 at skunkworks. He told me if I was looking for a decent Scoth that Ushers would work. He called it the working man's Scoth. We miss you Master Sargent

For decent blended Scotch, try Bell's. Not as good as the Single Malts, but palatable.
