I thought I knew you better, Bristoe, and I thought you knew my people better. When you control government, the media, banks and pretty much every other thing, you get to define things as you see fit. To me, a non-profit is anything that I don't want to pay taxes on. TFF

Some crazy flatland hillbillies. Same author wrote "Salvation on Sand Mountain" about the penecostal snake handlers. Both are damn good reads

I haven't read that one but thank you. I find South Florida to be a beautiful place. I did as well. Spent a year between key largo and Sanibel island/Ft.Myers. The Keys back then felt disconnected from the U.S. The "Conch republic" operated on a whole other level of debauchery. We'd go to work at the marina and the bartender would line up shots to start the shift. Great place to live for a 20 year old that DGAF.
