It’s not, their phone number is disconnected. No response from emails. The other phone number he provided has no voicemail. I’ve tried it multiple times. According to PayPal, since he filed a claim, if they approve it, and I refund him, then I’m out $$$. I’m following PayPal’s recommendation on waiting 30 days.

I don’t know either of these guys but the scam that 284BLR is describing, as allegedly told by PayPal, fits nicely into what this Jarhead guy is saying.
Send me the gun or send me the money back. If he’s already filed the claim with PayPal, he wants one or the other back. If he is scamming, he’s out both if the seller waits until the dust settles.
This is of course if I understand what is going on. Apparently there’s a game on, but I’ve forgotten about it at this point.
