Old son and I are already planning on a trip to the family ranch in Colorado. I am running seriously low on steaks and ran outta pan sausage last week!!! . And being an elkaholic, I need my fix!!
I'm planning one to the family ranch too. It's called the San Juan National Forest. I only invite a few thousand of my closest hunting buddies

Hoping to get my dad out to WY on a general deer tag for his first trip west since the 70s. Not prime trophy area but hoping to make great memories with him and my brother. All while saving up another point to try for Wyoming elk next year

Eastern Wyoming muleys this year. Hopefully draw a bull tag next year.
EDIT: Elk might wait till 2022 if I can work out a Newfoundland moose for 2021.

Hello folks. I’m new to the forum, actually a forum virgin as I have never been on one before. I have a diy drop camp scheduled in Co gmu 24 first rifle on Buford Ridge. Anyone have experience at this place during this season?

Oregon Roosevelt’s on the menu per usual with OTC 4 day bull hunt...Cow draw hunt possibly with 13 points. My Grocery store cow hunt may have changed their store hours causing me to choose between chasing bulls or taking a guaranteed meat tag...Decisions - decisions.
Head up to Washington with Frud-knuckle and company to take a swipe at putting a bull in the dirt on Weyerhaeuser land. Costs associated with this hunt won’t deter me from partaking in long roping bulls outta the deep timber...
Should be a good shoot with plenty of laughs running with the Chapman savages up North.

My plan is to hunt two seasons, 3rd and 4th, in Colorado. What two rifles will go is yet to be determined.

No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.
A good .30-06 is a 99% solution.
