I cringe every time I hear the phrase "I prayed about it", or "let's pray about it". I don't why. It just seems fake to me, somehow. When I go before the Lord to seek his wisdom is usually about something deeply personal and I don't even ever mention it, let alone tell the world "I prayed about it".

IME, when a person said they prayed about something, they know they're about to screw you, but want you to take it cause it's God's will. I wonder if Mike Lee prayed about it, and got a different "answer". Or maybe Lee is just an apostate. How about all the Mormons in Utah who didn't want Trump convicted? Are they apostates now, too? I mean, according to Mitt's God.
To me it's fine to do things according to your beliefs, but just keep it to yourself. To announce it to the world makes it sound like BS.
Now, to the Republicans he is a traitor, and to the Democrats, a hero. I don't see how it affects the bottom line either way. Acquitted. Trump is still our President.
