How are these in quality? Tracking? Warranty?

I've never even seen one, let alone looked through one. Only seen them on Camera Land's website. The ones that are interesting me at the moment are the MeoPro.

I haven'tput mine through its paces yet. The clarity is very good. I would by another. Mine has lifetime warranty. Never used the customer service.

Have a Meopro on a Tikka 300 win Superlite. Has held up very well. Quickly became my favorite scope, Have never needed customer service on a scope, Have used it with binos and would say customer service is top notch!!

Either of you have a leupold vx3 to compare them to?

I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with a Meopro if comparing to a vx3. I have used both.

The 1.5-6x42 Meopta Artemis is way better that the VX3 I have and a couple I have had in the past. Better in low light, better clarity holds zero and is dead on repeatable.

To my eyes, Meopta is noticeably brighter

The quality you get for your $ is impressive with Meopta optic's. I have been doing some freelance work with them for 9 months and I am impressed with the products. To my eyes, definitely better clarity than the VX3 and less expensive. If you want a scope loaded with features check out the Optika6 line. 30mm tube, awesome light transmission, great clarity and built tough. I used the 3-18 this past deer seaosn and had notihng but 1 shot stops. I loaned the rifle to a new hunter and he went 2 for 2 as well. Meopta has a new for 2020 Optika5 coming out that will be 5X zoom and have a 1 inch tube. The price will be less than the 6's as well. As I write this I am sitting in a deer hunting camp in Sonora with an old friend who is using a M 70 300 WM with a 6x42 Meopta that he has used all over the globe for the past 20 years and the zero has never changed and the optics still impressively bright and clear

Pointer, That is what it is all about! Here's my 6x42 on my Browning Belgium BLR .308 that has taken to many deer to count. Still as accurate as I can shoot. Some things are ment to be!

Mr bman, hope your early 2020 has been going well. Can you confirm for us if the new dual hinge Meopro is in fact Meostar Hd optics please? Thanks, if they are that makes them very appealing, at least to me.

I have a VX-3 1.75x6x32 and a MeoPro 3.5-10x44. Though I’m happy with the VX-3 the MeoPro has better glass to my eyes.

I also prefer the optics of my Meopta Mepro's to the VX3. No issues with mine.

Great to hear a couple of good reports about the 6x42. I just bought one a couple of weeks ago. It seems nice and bright and clear in the middle of the day but I haven't looked at it in low light or compared it to a VX3 or Z3. I bought it to go on a 6.5x57 that I'm in the thinking stage of building but I think I will have to put it on a rifle in the meantime. It seems too nice a scope to leave sitting in the box.

Bought my 1st Ever used..... Meopta/Meopro 4.5x14x44 Target with MChorter ret in 1inch tube from a24hour campfire member it's been Fantastic ,also bought a New Meopta Optika 6 sfp 3x18x50 /30mm tube with the BDC Dichro tech ret, it's Stellar,everything just PoP's looking through it with my 63 yr young eyes ,yes I'd buy again !.

So I’ve got a vx3 2.5-8x36, a 3-9x40 Conquest (pre-Hd and pre-terra model. I’m told it’s made by meopta) and a 4.5-14x44 cabelas instinct all mounted right now. I shot a deer with the cabelas last fall.

Of the 3, I would rank them Conquest, VX3, Cabelas Instinct. My main complaint on the Cabela’s Meopta is the eye relief and the thick dark ring around the FOV. It’s bad enough I’m considering selling. The glass is very good and bright. Brighter than the VX3 for sure. I love the VX3 for the lightweight and very good eye relief with no tunnel vision at all. I like the Conquest the best as I think it is the brightest, clearest, and also has great eye relief.

I apologize if this isn’t apples to apples, but my understanding was the Cabela’s and the Conquest are both basically the same as the Meopta.
