OP: I have a question - electric wiring, or car repair, etc. First or second response: I don't know anything about your question but good luck with your problem.
Luck or 'prayers sent' take ones pick, but neither will fix a dropped valve or cracked cylinder head..but some seem to think it might cure ones cancer.

You know I used to feel that way, but, I had chili with beans when I was working in New Mexico and it was REALLY good....but definitely no macaroni in chili... Also I've found this place looks a lot better after a couple beers...

So, if you're serious, they make fun of it. If you attempt a joke, they go all serious. Most read only the last response. Some folks just don't like others, and it shows Some post links, that most don' t read, but post away anyhow. There are more. I am curious if the saying “squirrel” has entered anyone else’s lexicon. Locally, it has become fairly commonplace, that when someone says a non sequitur or off topic statement people reply squirel. I believe it comes from the movie UP. It represents the uncontrollable instinct of a dog to chase a squirel when he sees one, rather than to stay on task.

My mistake non se·qui·tur. Use non sequitur in a sentence. noun. The definition of a non sequitur is a statement, conclusion or reply that has nothing to do with the previous statement. https://www.yourdictionary.com/non-sequitur

I'm just concerned that the majority on the forum may not be ready for such a leap of cognitive intelligence. But nice post, not only defined but a fine example of non sequitur ta boot.

I'm amazed that nobody yet has mentioned the people who cut and paste something they saw on Drudge - without even scanning the threads to see that four others beat them to the same C&P.

But, we seem to keepin' on coming back, like a moth to a flame. To be serious, I have met many good folks here.
The stalkers that just follow and post derogatory, I just disregard, or put on ignore. Yup...and I understand me less and less for this reason. What I don't understand is the Troll Worship that goes on here. One of the lead trolls go missing, and soon there's 3-4 threads wanting to know where they are...

How NOT to post something. Thread title: "Sumbitches!" or "Really?" or something that indicates that you actually think everybody else swims in your stream of consciousness and knows exactly what you're referring to. Hint: they don't. Body of thread: No text or explanation, just an unintelligle link that provides no further clues to what you're talking about and could expose the clicker to God only knows what kind of malware or viruses. https://www.chinesehackers.com/4eR5T/9dgm#/?3fgThis is a damn bar room, not a classroom, professor of all things linguistics!

The best of the Fire is often on the PM's. Good people asking great questions and great opportunity to stay on track and "communicate" without unconstructive diversion .

Long , Copied posts. I don’t read.
Think of the Fox News Alert on your phone. Who. What. Where. When. Why.
I don’t read anything that JagTx posts. All canned ham. Means well though.
