Luck or 'prayers sent' take ones pick, but neither will
fix a dropped valve or cracked cylinder head..but some
seem to think it might cure ones cancer.

I am curious if the saying “squirrel” has entered anyone else’s lexicon.
Locally, it has become fairly commonplace, that when someone says a non sequitur or off topic statement people reply squirel. I believe it comes from the movie UP. It represents the uncontrollable instinct of a dog to chase a squirel when he sees one, rather than to stay on task.

"non sequitur"
Since when are words like this allowed on here ?

We pray our sights be straight
and our aim be true
We pray for no pain
to the game we pursue
We thank you Lord
for this land
We thank you for the sights
from our stands
We pray for safety, one and all
We pray we may return next fall

My mistake

non se·qui·tur. Use non sequitur in a sentence. noun. The definition of a non sequitur is a statement, conclusion or reply that has nothing to do with the previous statement.

I know its definition. I'm just concerned that the majority on the forum may not be ready for such a leap of cognitive intelligence.
But nice post, not only defined but a fine example of non sequitur ta boot.

I'm amazed that nobody yet has mentioned the people who cut and paste something they saw on Drudge - without even scanning the threads to see that four others beat them to the same C&P.

The best of the Fire is often on the PM's.
Good people asking great questions and great opportunity to stay on track and "communicate" without unconstructive diversion .

Yea....I've noticed that. No idea why I occasionally venture into the Hunter's Campfire cesspool. Glutton for punishment, I guess.

Wabigoon: I usually ONLY read the FIRST post - why would "most" only read the last post?
Got's to know (ghetto-ese there!) why only the "last post".
