It's probably the heaviest blade I've got, but that's what I ordered, and I'm very happy with the craftsmanship.. Did I mention its a sharp sumbitch? 😂 grin

Although this last run at M4 was fun and interesting, I am thinking along the same lines as Rick Menefee and will stick with the old faithfuls next time around.
I do have a chunk and some blanks left of the M4, so will do current request and another round (or 2) to finish it off.
Then (if then) I will probably return to CPM 154 and/or S30V----Ho Hum.
The new stuff and what can be done with it is really cool, but.......
I do enjoy the info that periodically gets shared here.

Here is a pretty good video to watch. Proof as I have stated many times on here Heat Treat is not just Heat Treat! Protocol matters!!!!!!!!!!!!! https://youtu.be/vkV7oCSHkUMDid I miss the discussion of blade grind/thickness/profile?

I am sure there is slight variance in the blades but from my experience his knifes are very consistent.

I am sure there is slight variance in the blades but from my experience his knifes are very consistent. What I'm saying is, I have 2 Spydie PM2's. They claim 62HRC, but on my Wilson they average about 60.1 to 60.9 They are .145 at the spine, .016ish behind the edge, and sharpened at 32* The Kasé Knives Shards I've personally played with are .138 and less than.12 behind the edge and sharpened to 30*. Roman offers the slim version all the way down to ridiculous, in the range of .004 behind the edge...ergo, my question: did the reviewer check the HRC, because the claim of 62 for the Spydie is way high per my tester..also, if profile, ie overall and behind the edge thickness isn't taken into account we aren't apples to apples...and finally, he discusses making the edge finish the same, but not the edge angle...again...a huge factor... Not saying anything is amiss, just questions I have re the video...
