Is this a factory rifle, or has the stock, barrel and trigger been upgraded?

You might want to ask if it's been gold plated too.

Guys I get it! They originally were around 4 ish. The .243’s can be had for 4-5 currently. The 22-250s have been going up in price as they are much harder to find. The .17s they sold in this model are going for over a grand. My prices are always negotiable as well. A Rem Model 788 7mm-08 carbine probably originally sold for 150 bucks but they are bringing much more than that now. Values go up, how much is based on the market and what somebody is willing to pay. I do appreciate the free bumps though. I was going to remove the add because I do not like drama however you can’t remove a posting once somebody replies. For the previous serious inquires it is all original and has the updated trigger new from factory from the bad trigger case. I think I have the box as well. No it’s not gold plated that would be just weird:)

A 22-250 in the Remington Model 7 Predator sold for EXACTLY the same price as did the 223 and 243's. The other chamberings, such as 204 and 17 FB have not been made in years. They are very good rifles, I have them in 223, 22-250, and 243, and can attest to the way they shoot...............BUT, they are on the market right now, for less that $400 wholesale. Even the highest price LGS in the city is not going to mark them up double.

For reference.....

https://www.cdnnsports.com/remington-model-seven-predator-223-mobr-fluted.html?___SID=U

All they have left in stock right now are rifles in 223 Remington, but they had them also in 243 Win and 22-250 Rem up until maybe a month ago. All at the same price. I don't remember what the price was marked down to at one time, but it was was lower and much needed to sell what they have sold of their stock. Now what they have left is at the price shown.

It's official. I missed the selfie deadline so I'm Maser's sock puppet because rene and the Polish half of the fubar twins have decided that I am.

I don't think anybody would be ragging on him if he was 150ish to high.

I just paid $525 for a Savage/Anschutz 164 .22lr that sold new for about $120 in the early 1980's. Guns are worth what someone will pay for them, just like everything.

I've got two of these that I paid $395 (wholesale) each, one .223 and one .243. I DO NOT have a 22-250. I have not checked my distributors but I did just look at "Bud's" for a data point on what is available to the non-FFL. The two I have were there for $456 and $450 respectively but 22-250s were out of stock. If they stay that way, they are indeed, worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay and I have no issue with the OP trying to sell his at a premium.

Cheers,
Rex
