They've got a pretty cheesy infomercial that about 30min long that shows up on tv sometimes. Reminds me of someone selling superbeets or something.
The finish is chipping of my sons Henry, doesn't take much. I sure with they would do a blued receiver but I imagine the cast/painted stuff is way cheaper to make.

Anyone use their .22 Mag pump? Looks like it would be the ticket for calling coons.

I’ve got a golden boy and a H1001, won them both at shooting events. Shot the golden boy some, it’s accurate enough but it weighs a ton and the stock has wayyyy too much drop. I have to get a chin weld to look through the sights.
The other one has never been out of the box, might have to give it to my boy in a couple years.

I would like to see Henry revisit the Ithaca 49 single shot .22 design with a steel receiver and lever, no aluminum, alloy or plastic parts. Give it some nice wood and a steel buttplate. It could be the gun that the Ithaca 49, Agawam 68 and Stevens 89 never were.

It seems that many of Henry's pump action rifles have very coarse actions,......many complaints. Also, they have aluminum receivers. I decided against getting one.

I’ve got a 22 WM and like it a lot. I might try one of their Big Boys some day.

I've had two, sold or traded them both. They seem heavy and clunky to me. I cant get on board either. Typically only walmart sells them around here. I dont want anything that shiny and the blue looks like a rattle can on the 22. I could very well become a fan if there was somewhere to see more than the lever 22 version.

Jim Conrad: I love rimfire Rifles, I love lever action Rifles, I love American made firearms , I have numerous friends who own Henry Rifles and I am a gun-nut! I simply (for some unknown reason?) can NOT warm up to Henry Rifles - I feel bad about this but it's the way it is. I have never owned one or bought one to re-sell for profit (and that is a RARE thing/instance!)! I commend you for your dedication but I simply can't "pull the trigger" on one. I have shot several of them in 22 L.R. and 17 HMR that belong to friends but again they are NOT endearing themselves to me - I guess I just hold them up for comparison/desirability to the much more desirable Marlin line of lever guns? Enjoy'em. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
