After the attack I read in the thread in question, there is nothing you could possibly contribute that will redeem your reputation . Your character is forever sullied, especially in light of your complaint sometime back concerning SH's attack on your Daughter. The attack in question here is the epitome of Hypocrisy. There was absolutely no need or benefit to be gained by saying what you said, and you are aware of how it feels to be on the receiving end. The deliberate nature of what you did portrays what a real Christian approach you have there.... Hey dick in va.....if your gonna tell a story at least get right... Not my daughter....talk about paying attention. Fool. If I got it wrong I apologize. Your response just proves my point. I thought I recalled you saying something about what somebody had said about your daughter some years back. It was his son, and it was in extremely poor taste. Hypocrisy, though, is just as bad. Just a small reminder of who you are praying for: I don’t trail people around, or have an elephant’s memory, but didn’t Tom264 profess to be a strong Christian at some point? Too bad to see anyone filled with so much hatred and poison in his soul.............especially some who’s professed at one point to be a follower of Jesus.

We have a meeting Tuesday night, I'll think we will spend some time on this topic.
I'm also thinking about talking to our county Sheriff about it, not asking them to guard out church, just thoughts on the topic.
Might even request a male pastor as the current one is all wrong according to the Bible. IF you actually believe the Bible. I think many missed the point of church.
It has nothing to do with a building or how many people attend.
It has everything to do with the teaching of Christ and His ministry.
But in modern days people tend to view church as someplace to go to make themselves feel better while the whole time overlooking the real reason.
So because your church has few members and old at that and no new prospects tells me that they are not feeding people what people really need = The Gospel.
These “pastors” get up there and throw a 20 minute spiel about how to be good and maybe say something about politics in the world today while totally blowing past the duty they are supposed to be doing.
It’s no wonder we have women pastors.....who else is there?
Paul clearly and specifically stated in the Bible Gods views on women in the pastoral position.
Now we have people telling us that they believe the Bible through and through and totally skip over the part about women leadership in the church....you have to ask yourself??? Do they really believe? And the Bible answers that too....by their fruits you shall know them. = that is what’s in their heart.
Sure you can have a leity women pray for you, if she is living right and filled with the Holy Ghost her prayers will be answered but if not.....well...guess.
I’ve seen pictures posted of women wearing slacks (clothing which pertain to a man) And cut hair... Paul talks of that too.
So with that I won’t tell you that the Methodist people are going to hell....there is plenty of other denominations that also fallow their own rules and regulations that are nowhere near Bible teachings...
It’s too late for the world but what people need to do is wake up and realize the denomination won’t take them to heaven but a walk with Christ in their life is the only way.
Get ready people......you are all about to find out which direction you will be going if you continue the way you are.

I’ve stayed away from these threads but going against my better judgement I’ve decided to respond.....
Tom, I know that you have endured some abuse here, abuse that was unfounded and hurtful. Bringing your wonderful boy into an argument is just plain wrong as is anyone suggesting that was God’s way of punishing you. I made my opinions VERY clear in those dustups and I stand by what I said then. The problem is that you are now doing the same stuff to those that you have a bone to pick with. I understand that you still carry that anger around but I have to ask you if it isn’t misplaced anger? You seem to be using the same tactics that you abhorred and it’s not a good look on you. I hope you don’t think I’m jumping your ass because I’m not, I’m simply calling it as I see it. I wish you and your family all the best and I hope you can set your anger aside, attempt to forgive those that have brought you down to this level and resume your positive contributions to this site.
Firstcouse, I’m sorry to hear about your divorce. I’ve never been divorced so I can’t offer words of wisdom but I do offer you and your family my prayers for heeling and moving forward with your lives. Best regards.
