We went to the Kenny Angus bull sale yesterday. We bought two bulls, $5200, and $4000. I took pictures, but to lazy to load them. The markets are in the tank. The Dow, and cattle markets are bad, the worst is grain, I need to raise some cash, bills you know. Wabigoon, I hear angus bulls make fair hamburger, ship to southern calif and make a fortune. we just put a 2 year old in the freezer, my cousin sent pictures of empty shelves in Los Angeles. he wants a steer cut and delivered. told him pickup only! not worried about the kung fu flu as much as I am the people down there, the consolidation of the states into one vast republic, sure to be aggressive abroad and despotic at home, will be the certain precursor of that ruin which has overwhelmed all those that have preceded. Richard, good luck with the bulls, hopefully they have an even temperament. Thankfully about a year ago I bought new front tires for the bale processor tractor, found a soft spot last Thursday and sunk down about 2 feet. The ol' yuppie tractor was grunting! Sweet pics Kenny! It was semi blizzard here this morning and a couple hundred geese were hunkered down where we've been feeding. Drove within 50 yards and they didn't bother taking off. Funny how the guys here that cry cause there arent any to hunt are the same guys that give me grief about leaving brush piles after clearing fence rows. Someday I might get another Bassett to run.
