That was last years Rocky Mountain National. Looking east from our camp. Up just east of Gunnison.

Man!, you men still going with an all night party! I'm too old to keep up with you youngsters. "Lefty, he can't sing the blues all night long like he used to".

Thanks wabi, here is a few of my grandfather (mother's side) at his homestead, with a buck, and on his new tractor with my grandmother and a neighbor kid. Homesteaded in 1910
Just WOW! Love these!!!!
I wonder how far he had to go to collect the trees for that cabin. And, get the fire wood to heat it! Great pictures all.
Grampa had to go to the breaks on the Stillwater River to cut the pine trees. It was around 2-3 miles.
Richard, first calf of the year today, about 11 days early so right on time....
We found the new pair when we went to look for the strays. Two big coyotes in the area so I grabbed baby and hauled him to a better spot where the coyotes probably won't go. Had a great shot at one but missed. Have a strong feeling my rifle needs to be re-zero'd.
Kenny, time was a cow needed horns to protect her calf. I don't want to be anywhere near a horned cow. I had one of our polled blacks take me back in 88, I still recall the time I spent on her back, her idea, not mine.
