Btw ate eel 1 time, that was enough!! Haha Judman, being as how you're on the west coast..............did you eat eel or lamprey? Two completely different critters with way different taste. Way Way different. Geno Geno it was at a sushi bar in florida, probably the best sushi we've had, but damn that eel, we didn't care for it. Really, not FL, but sushi bars is where I developed a real taste for unagi (smoked eel). Grocery Stores are running out of food especially meat.
The Hunters freezer may soon run out of last years bounty.
This schit may last all summer, so when will it be OK with the fire to start filling our freezers with out of season game?
If poaching becomes OK, when does robbing corner stores make it to the same OK list?

Love me some shark steaks 😎 i dis but they were on laptop that was stolen, haven't done much shark fishing the last few years. black tip is damn goog eating, i have some scalloped hammerhead in the freezer caught a 6 footer offshore 4-5 months ago it was pretty good also.

i'm going to do some freshwater fishing this summer probably only fished freshwater 3-4 times in the last 30 something yrs. i'd like to catch a mess of bream.

Just check first, they may be listed now and off limits.................. until it's poaching time. Geno Alantic eels are a mofo. 4 yr travel cycle young and mature ones go down rivers hit the gulf stream to europe then to the carribean back up gulf stream to new england and maritime canada rivers to spawn Repeat Coksukka,s..... Just a bit turned around there. Atlantic eels swim upriver as elvers (little eels), grow, and go downriver to the ocean to spawn in the Sargasso Sea. Couple of different populations, one American, the other Euro eels. Complete opposite of salmon. Japanese eels the same way. Grow to adulthood in fresh water. I've got two big tackle boxes full of lures. Panther Martins, Mepp's and Rooster Tails in every size and color. None catches trout like trout magnets. Post a pic, never seen\heard of one. Just google trout magnet.

Lots of ways to fish them with or without a bobber. Put some action into them for best results. Several videos on youtube showing how. They are KILLER once you get the hang of them.

Big jim, what kinda spinner is that? Looks panther Martin-ish Called a Jake"s Spin A Lure. Sometimes thats all they will bite. Ok I got some jakes spin a lures, they're like a spoon. Don't work for shiit for me. 😂😂😂  That's kinda like the Stripers & Hydrids here. I catch the fool out of them on shad Zara Puppy (s). Other guys & Ive had 2 diff guys in the boat W/me, CAN'T get em to hit the puppy for money. Some guys can't Walk the Puppy !
