We can’t keep glossing over systemic problems with OUR (.gov) and our kids’ money. Sooner or later we have to pay the piper for our willingness to allow certain critical parts of the economy to be outsourced to our chief of enemies, and for cronyism.
It isn’t and never was “too big to fail”; it’s “too big NOT to fail”.
Why not let that be us now rather than our grandchildren or great grandchildren?
I don’t think the government should do anything. They’ve already done far too much, and as was noted, this sense of emergency only adds insanity to an already over the top insane culture in DC.

It wasn't BIG enough. Spend it all, printing presses wide open. Let's start the dominoes falling. Armageddon here we come. Break out the copious ammo reserves. Check the food stockpiles. Muster friends and family. Hunker down. Trust no one.
But first the sun's out and it gonna hit 75 today. One more day living, one more day of freedom, one more day. But then tomorrow ; LET THE CULLING COMMENCE !
We pray our sights be straight and our aim be true We pray for no pain to the game we pursue We thank you Lord for this land We thank you for the sights from our stands We pray for safety, one and all We pray we may return next fall

Sounds like Trump should not sign it. How long does he have to not sign it before it becomes law anyway?

There is no doubt this spending bill is full of pork barrel spending intended to advance the liberal agenda. Funding for NPR, Planned Parenthood, illegal immigrants and who knows what else. This event will also be used to expand government and take away individual rights. On the other hand, I think a lot of people are having their eyes opened about what is really going on. Pelosi tried to pack the bill with a lot more pork barrel spending and got shut down. Trump's approval rating has increased. There are corrupt, self-serving politicians on both sides of the aisle but I think more republicans see supporting Trump as the best way to enhance their own political careers. Not saying they support him, but more and more people are supporting him as the democrats continue to reveal their true agenda and fail at moving it forward. Politicians are all self-centered and some are realizing they can further their career by supporting Trump. I don't think Trump is a politician but he is learning how politics work.

The real question is, are you willing to crash the economy over it? Don't crash the economy. Just stop the shutdown. They're burning down the house to eliminate the spiders and then giving everyone motel vouchers paid for with borrowed money. This can't last. 3.3 million unemployment claims. About 4 TIMES the previous record and they ain't even started yet. In 2007--2009 there were 5,000 excess suicides due to the economic strife. How many will there be this time? 20,000? 30,000?
Don't blame me. I voted for Trump.
Democrats would burn this country to the ground, if they could rule over the ashes.

The question shouldn't be "whats in the bill" but "why the bill". Who cares where the money goes, its all fake, just ones and zeros on a frigging' computer.... And we get stuck holding the empty bag.
There should't be a bale out bill, there shouldn't have been TARP, QE, QE2, QE3, QE4... ad nausium. We're broke! What about the additional $4 trillion going to wall street along with this bill, after how many more $trillions they've pumped into the banksters since last fall? Remember that $trillion, trillion and a half they shoved into wall street when the Dow and S&P were sliding into the abyss, all in one day? The market still tanked.
But they are the Masters Of The Universe and they are all knowing, they tell us. Accept, one problem, they're insane. They truly believe they can fix the worlds' debt problem by increasing the debt....

Nope.......
Anything else is pork and concession B.S.
Like the artsy fartsy kennedy center schit......
And giving it to welfarites.
Giving way more unemployment bennies than what some make.
Its all a bid to scream universal income schitt when it ends And how unfair it is to stop it after people got used to a higher standard of income.
Just watch and see...... The Liberal Socialist Democrats will be screaming bloody murder when it stops.
I hope a 2nd round never happens.

"Are you OK with the concessions in the $2T bill?"
Do I have a choice? Yeah, didn't think so. Until term limits are put on those writing the bills, I will never have a choice. Oh yeah, I know, vote, well I've learned that my vote doesn't get me much.

Let me make this perfectly clear - I am not in favor of this bill but I did not get a chance to vote on it either. Those hardest hit by this are the people working for a living who have very little financial cushion and are facing layoff. People are realizing these people are the ones that keep our country going. Not the sports figures and actors whose opinions don't matter. Not the talking heads on the MSM.

I am not ok with ANY of it. You wanna help us out? Kill the income tax. Kill the self employment taxes. Kill the personal property tax. Kill the Medicare taxes, SS taxes, and a host of others. With all that extra money, people would be able to spend, and government would have to shrink to exist within the increased sales tax revenues. There would be pain generated from the social net being burnt, but people need to learn to be dependent on themselves, their families and their communities rather than the feds, and far better to do it in a controlled fashion than to do it in chaos when the checks start bouncing.
However, it is plain to see that no one in DC or the various state capitols has any interest in shrinking government or making the hard choices to get America back to a nation of industrious, ingenuous and hardworking self sufficient people. Every recession and depression that has happened to this nation has been because of the central bank and its government enablers.
It was not the people who caused the Great Depression. They just suffered through it. Same with all the recessions from then to now. Government is the problem. The central bank is the problem. So why do we look to either of them to fix anything? It’s like letting the jerk that steals from everyone in the neighborhood house sit for you when you go on vacation. And we keep doing it. WTF???

You wanna know how well government works? I ordered a second plate for my truck back in December when I licensed it. MO only gives you a front plate for any license weight over 12000 lbs. I was traveling a lot in states that issue two plates, so I paid the extra 16 bucks to get a rear plate. As if 200 bucks a year plus personal property taxes isn’t enough to cover a second plate.
The plates are good for a year, expire every December. It is nearly April. I have called three times about this, end up as the 45th caller in line when I do. Still no plate. Gal at DMV says I have to deal with the headquarters at the capitol. Says they had to fire a bunch of people and are having a backlog while they hire new ones. Like I care. You demand I have these plates. I do not buy them because I want them. Your job is to supply a frigging plate when I pay for it. And they can’t even do that.
When your state government can’t even supply a license plate, what else are they failing at? And the feds are certainly no better. It’s time we cut them off pout of our checkbooks and sent them all home to get a real job. Or to the gallows. God knows most of them deserve it.

I don't understand the unemployment plus an extra $600 a week. We're paying people more than if they were on the job.
The guy working at fcckin Walmart who's surrounded by the walking dead doesn't even get $600 a week and he's at work. Hes lucky if he gets 600 a month

How many eat out numerous times per week and drink Starbucks each morning? How many have cable TV? People don't save for hard times anymore. That's their fault. Why do we have to constantly bail them out?

Understand that deflating the dollar is the same as massively raising taxes. I agree with virtually nothing .gov is doing. It’s very hard too. The Democrats are despicable; the R’s, always conciliatory. If I was Trump, I’d hold a press conference with a white board, black sharpie and have listed the garbage Pelosi and Schumer put in it and the resultant price.
