At 8:19 this morning I got a call from my daughter in law. She told me my son had an auto accident and he didn't make it. He was 24 years old. His name was John Tyler Lucas. We had many good hunting and fishing trips together. Cherish every minute you have with your son. We never know when it may be the last. Having lost mine, I know exactly what you are feeling and going through. You and yours have my deepest regards.

Burying ones children is the most horrible thing a person will ever experience. Nothing compares and you are never prepared. Our Victoria passed 26 years ago this past December and I think of her almost daily. Keep your family close.
