270 fan for a long time. I hate to say it ...The 6.5 creed puts it to shame at the range.

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

.270 Win. is ok. My daughter has one that stays at my house. I used it with good effect on night shooting hogs because it has an illuminated reticle. Worked fine with 150 grain Winchester power points. When I acquired a VX-R 4-12 with fire dot for my .30-06 the .270 went back in the closet. My daughter prefers her .243 so the .270 is just a loaner or spare now. Around here it's kind of like having a colored girlfriend, pretty good but you don't want anybody to know about her. So, are you saying it's not gay because it's a girl's gun?

Any round that has 30-03 as a Daddy and the 30-06 as a sibling, can never be gay. Just like any kid of Chuck Norris can't be either.
