Thanks fellas. It was one of Bob’s he’d found, sold to a buddy and then I snagged it from. It’s a peach and shoots like crazy.

Heck I just asked them if they were gay and nope, they say they are all straight shooters.

.270 Win. is ok. My daughter has one that stays at my house. I used it with good effect on night shooting hogs because it has an illuminated reticle. Worked fine with 150 grain Winchester power points. When I acquired a VX-R 4-12 with fire dot for my .30-06 the .270 went back in the closet. My daughter prefers her .243 so the .270 is just a loaner or spare now. Around here it's kind of like having a colored girlfriend, pretty good but you don't want anybody to know about her. So, are you saying it's not gay because it's a girl's gun?  He's saying that HE cant get the job done with a 270, but his daughter gets it done with a 243.

I recently reformed a M700 ADL in 270 Replaced the barrel with a 6.5-06 A Sq Now I have a 277 tomato stake.....

However my favorite is a very old Rem. model 721 I found buried in dirt and hiding in a corner at a gunshop long ago. The shine looking down the bore caught my eye and for some reason that rifle slipped into my cheek better than any woman ever has. I reciprocated with kindness and cleaning and that rifle really shined up. Crazy thing is my custom rifles can't out perform it, deadly accurate. All for less than a tank of gas. Osky
