Physical distancing has led to a drop off with accuracy. Good thing. For their uncooperative attitude, may they all soon test positive.

Don't most people now consider the entire state of Kommifornia to be the armpit of the nation? Or is that honor still held by NJ?

That's the one on the Five north of the grapevine right?

What's the one on the 15 on the way to Vegas? (With the thermometer) Baker?[/quote

Yep, Baker.

Another garden spot is Barstow.

But, Bakersfield is tops in lack of desirability for a residence for me.

Cali has many wonderful places. Bakersfield is better than a few IMO.

Actually that would be Arvin just a bit south of Bakersfield.

There are a few god things that come from Bakersfield.

Those two certainly qualify if one is a country music fan.

Oil is another good thing that comes from Bakersfield. And some vegetables.

Good people live there too...........

But overall, as some countries have been called.............................it's a scheidthole.

You wouldn't want to move from AK just to live in Bakersfield.................perhaps not even if you lived in Anchorage even.

Yeah, Arvin....but I think that's a suburb of Bakersfield now.

It's a pretty big armpit down that end of the valley.

Which few would those be?

Stockton?

West Fresno?

Heck, even some of the places in the Bay Area and SanDiAngeles really suck..................but at least one can get to a beach quickly to see some bikinis.

Well, considering Fresno is 100 miles or so north of Bakersfield, and Yosemite is a good hour's drive or more north of Fresno, It's a bit more than 30 miles between the two.

But, you're absolutely correct. It is a beautiful place. A wonder of the World if you will.
