Serious 50 I think people are basing their opinions on the death toll and that really isn't the issue, the issue is the hospitalizations. With 10 people in the hospital for every death, this could overwhelm our hospital system if we did't clamp down. Are liberal governors being stupid, yes. Some people are jacked off about the overinflated death toll. The other option is to do over 10,000 autopsies for what? If someone wants to hammer Trump about the COVID deaths at least he can claim he cured cancer  Very true. In places like NYC where the best evidence indicates it has hit hard, there was no good way to autopsy. I'm sure one of our medical experts will be along shortly to debunk me on that and I pre-yield to their greater knowledge with only the hintest of sarcasticism.

It actually looks like in the past few days, their numbers are going down. I also don't think you can trust the US numbers, since we've all read how the CDC is instructing doctors to pad the stats.

Its been posted here that the Michigan Governor banned powerboats. While there may be some esoteric reasons for this, I fail to see the point. It would seem the opposite would be better, having people get out in the fresh air while generally avoiding a crowded situation such as Walmart lines, etc. Sometimes the boat ramps do get crowded but...
