Barricade or PB2 anti-rust/lube on every pivot joint. Soak. Repeat, soak. Repeat.........

You'll be back in business in a few days.

Had the same thing on an old camper. They just get seized up due to the grime, rust, etc.

And sitting.

Holy CHIT!!! I hope you were trying to get out instead of going in. That is no fun. I don't care where you are.

WD40 is schidt for lube, or as a penetrating oil.

I once had the lift for my motorcycle freeze up on the back of my "RV", but application of Kroil (Aerokroil actually) fixed that problem.

Never had the steps freeze that I have noticed. Probably my wife or the kids would have mentioned it.

Mine was a 2014 (new) to 2017 (when I sold it).

My manual fold out step was frozen in place, no sledgehammer could have freed it.

When I finally broke it free with PB2, about a pound of sand and gravel and chit poured out of a bunch of nooks and crannies and channels.

So, it was just a helpful thought.

My 31 class C now is electric and obviously travels on different terrain, so doubt I'd have that problem now.

I was going in but backing out didn’t seem like the right call at the time but it might have been.

The winch pulled it right out, was only stuck for 5 minutes and had a gobbler roosted before it was dark.

+1. Kroil > PB2

PB2 will be cheaper and easier to find but Kroil is the daddy of all anti-seize.
