A white grandma and her lemon meringue Cadillac, can’t argue with that. That's a very slick Caddy. I can imagine cruising the interstate at about 85 in that.

In my America, I could travel freely without fear of my ballsack touching the water in hotel toilets.
You just need a traveling booster seat. I have one I could sell you, cheap. Wife needed it after her hip replacements. PM me your addy. Send me a jar of canned garden goodies. No more wet nuts. Problem solved. Geno

I owned a couple of Seville’s, while my brother liked the Coupe Deville’s. My other, older brother was a Porsche 911 lover. We all worked for Ma Bell selling Yellow Pages Advertising....Think tv show Mad Men, but selling Yellow Pages. That’s was us. Made a fortune back in the late 70’s thru middle 80’s until Judge Green broke up all the Bell Companies. Ahh, the good ol days! 😎

Even with the small motor and two bad cylinders it had a whole bunch of power! Wish more they still made cars like that which would get 30 MPG like our RAV4 and never need a bolt turned for 200K miles. Geno

This occurs frequently in My America. We get to see them from our living room window or our back deck. Now a view to the east: Trespassers:

Without getting into religion or philosophy, there are three core principles that are fading from our ethos with the onslaught of progressive incrementalism- self determination, self reliance, and self responsibility. Best reply of the thread. I'd add two more principals: Compassion, and selflessness. Self determination, self reliance, and self responsibility doesn't mean it has to be a dog eat dog world, every man for himself existence. Self determination, self reliance, and self responsibility *can* exist, and I would argue, thrives, with some semblance of compassion and selflessness. I don't think our country would have been founded if we didn't have each other's backs early on.

It would start like this: A ship sails into port and many people called it a “Slave” ship. The authorities examined the ship and found African tribesmen chained together in the hold of the ship. The Captain and crew were hung and the US Navy returned the tribesmen across the Atlantic to their rightful homes. This

Well, for starters I would infuse the qualities of the WWII generation into today’s culture. I really miss those folks. We were lucky to have several in the area that had a lot of influence on us, as we grew up. They were just straight up, quality folks. Several of them were quail hunters. We loved to hear them argue about the best bird dogs/shotguns. They kept us in line, helping us along the way. We could certainly use many of their qualities and their grit today.

During the pandemic, the wife puts mail, shipping, and groceries in quarantine. I got a piece of fruit outside of protocol, and the wife fenced off her quarantine area.
