Died of what? 7800 people die on average every single day in the United States. If/When the true numbers come out, we will see. If Flu and other causes of death dropped disproportionately, we'll know the numbers are cooked. If the Flu deaths and other causes of death numbers remain relatively close to the average over the last couple years, we'll know the numbers were real. Even simpler, if the average amount of deaths per day in the U.S. increases by roughly the same number as deaths attributed to the Covid over the last two months, we'll know we werent duped. I think theres a better chance of Kim Jong-Un spending a night in the Lincoln bedroom as Trumps guest than that happening. At this point, It's really not debatable that there are deaths being incorrectly contributed to Covid19, how many is the real question.
I would still like an explanation f rom all the deniers of why Donald Trump(who you elected) would destroy his own economy. You try and blame it all on the media and communists. Fear came first. Not the virus. Not death. Fear.
It was spread day and night until it started to reach critical height. Up until the point that the NBA postponed their season, everybody was on the same page. Democrats and Republicans. Take some light measures, but overall everything will be fine.
When the NBA postponed their season, the media latched onto that and spun it as a self-sacrificing measure. As if the NBA had done this for the greater good. The reality was that they did it for financial reasons because the 24/7/365 news cycle had begun to do it's job. It scared everybody schitless.
This was around the same time that Spring Break states began closing beaches and schools and asking spring breakers to not come in droves. Maybe a bit extreme, but not horribly reckless. Especially given the fact that for most families, we were all just getting an additional five days tacked onto to our spring break. Not a tough pill to swallow.
That is when the media went after any politician so hard that non-conformity resulted in their approval numbers dropping like a rock.
I've stated many times, this is not a medical problem. It's a political one. And it is (frankly) a masterpiece on the part of the left. Because they drummed up enough fear in the populace to cause politicians to conform, and to do so with no real exit strategy.
If you spend a few minutes on the internets you will find all the quotes from both the left and the right saying this was a nothing. Including Fauci and Scarf. It's only AFTER the fear got a grip, that you saw stories change for the purposes of political survival.
In its most simple form, Trump and his team were painted into a corner. They got outmaneuvered.
