I filled up this morning in Arcade, NY @ $2.19
Fugged again in NY....... I'da rather pushed my truck outta NY, then give those commies a cent. sidebar: A little Cuban girl that designs kitchens for me at Lowes told me she doesn't spend one plug nickel outside her family's house when she goes to Cuba to visit them. Doesn't want the communist govt to profit from the small bit of open markets they "allow" just for the people to survive.

Been 1.49 for weeks here. All of a sudden this morning it’s 1.45. Maybe we are behind everyone else?!?

Fugged again in NY....... I paid $1.79 in Pulaski with full service Wednesday. I had better than 1/2 tank but I figure that's the lowest I'll ever see in NY in my lifetime so I topped her off anyway.
They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

I’ll have to check the carbon slip Goober gave me at the filling station. I just put it on my Diner’s Club.

$1.54 a gallon for regular w/ethanol and $2.19 for ethanol free regular. I need to fill some of my 6 gallon jugs for my small engines with the ethanol free. Still beats me how they can charge more to leave the ethanol out.

Oil might have been this cheap in 1970, I don't recall. I do recall paying around 20 cents a gallon for gas in Kansas and in Wyoming. 25 in Idaho. Adjusted for inflation, that makes 1.69 gas really cheap today. I was earning about 22 dollars a day in 1968. This plummeted to 80 dollars a month, courtesy of Uncle Sam, in 1969. Anyway, that 22 dollar a day job would be paying at least ten times that today so, given the same rate, gas would be 2.50 per gallon. GD
