I have three of these makitas. I want to hang them on hooks.

Have you done this?

How have you attached the loops/Ds? Short screws? Epoxy?

Thanks.

I keep mine hanging on a piece of horizontal 2 inch angle with the L up tacked to the end of the welding table. The wheel hooks over the turned up edge of the angle.

I also hang mine on a piece of angle. You could use rod or bar too.

If taken 1/4” cold roll. Bent into a V to catch the guard. Make it standoff whatever the thickness of the guard is away from where you mount it.

Oh yeah.

Old work habits.

Blow up a cutting wheel and it’ll make you a believer.

I have the guard on the cutting wheel, but removed them from grinding wheel and wire cup.
