I really like the look of your holsters, Don. I have making holsters for a while, but mostly outside belt. After looking at these, I'm going to make a few ISWB for my Python and Detonics .45. I like that knife also but have made mine cross draw so as to draw with either hand and carry at the 11:00 position. W. Bill
I'd rather die in a BAD gunfight than a GOOD nursing home.

My fav carry gun is a colt LW commander...they always say not to do range plinking with them as you can wear out the aluminum feed ramp...I do shoot mine some but the feel and all is pretty much the same as a full size so I do all my practice with a steel frame gun...when I shoot the LW it shoots the same..of course they are set up with the same aftermarket parts...I did do a bob on the LW but it doesn't seem to hold or shoot any dif

I therefore no longer own a lightweight 1911 of any variety. But I have five all-steel 1911s, one of which (the Ed Brown Kobra Carry) is Combat Commander sized. The others are full, Government Model, sized. Never get bopped in the face with any of them. I'll stick with all-steel 1911s.

It was a trend, so I attributed it to lightweight frames. I've had many all steel frames, and never once had the problem.

What if it smacked you in the eye in the middle of a gun fight?
