Well, around certain parts using alfalfa camo might work, juniper in others, sagebrush most everywhere, lava rock on the rim-rock areas, and only occasionally tumbleweed.

Once won a casual skeet shooting contest with a beat up borrowed Mossberg pump 12 ga.
Couldn't miss with that thing, fit my eye perfectly. Dude wouldn't sell it.

That’s a purdy gun Ren. I just had a not so good experience with a mossberg pump that I had scrimped and saved for as a kid. I ended up trading it for an 870 cause the guy wanted a gun that shot 3" shells. Not a Purdy. Mossberg. World of difference, man...😂

This mornings 2.5 hrs of work / mods on the buttstock. Got rid of the sharp angled lines. Hit the outline on the checkering, opened it up some more. Modified the hump transistion on top of the pistol grip along the comb. It was pretty pronounced before. Modified the heel line and bottom of the pistol grip for installation of a basic black pistol grip cap, which it dont come from mossberg with. Just think it will be a good match with the black recoil pad. Go to a LGS later today, rat fugg thru his bin of caps with buttstock in hand. Pick out 2 or 3 that catch the eye. Get em home, sand ta fit, predrill screw hole. Probably use a brushed stainless steel flat tip screw. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/GphwgFSM/20200518-090157.jpg)

I want to see a slimmed wrist. Yep, put a Rem 700 Mtn Rifle pattern on my Ruger 77 MKII. I did that with my tanger M-77 in 270. It was one of those from the chubby stock era
